This happens to me few months ago on my galaxy a55 and it happens after the software update. So i reinstall the software and it fixed

So, u can try by
- first, factory reset
- if not solved, then try reinstall the software
- if not solved, then the broken thing is the lcd, replace it

I didn't update the software,it just started happening when I was on Facebook

I was on Facebook and suddenly everything froze....I rebooted the phone again but the middle part was not working well
