UI 4.1 - recent apps replaced with recommended apps... fix?

Does anyone else have their recent apps replaced with recommended apps with no remedy in the latest UI update? I constantly use the recent apps because there are a few apps I use all the time, but now it seems that I don't have that option anymore, and it only gives me a listing for stock apps from Samsung that I never use... I've gone through the settings, in the logical places, but it appears I don't have a proper option to change this... It just allows me to use recommended apps or not have anything show up when I hit the recents button... is there a remedy for this?

apk is just the package installer for any android app there are several sites you can download like apkpure.

Can you share the package name? I'd love to do the same, just need to know what I'm looking for...

Side loading apps can't be the solution. Samsung just needs to fix it

I don't have One UI V4.1 yet, but you should be able to Click / Swipe on the Recents, Click on the 3 dot menu top right & Toggle OFF "Show Recommended Apps". You should then have the "regular" Recents.

Having same issue.  REALLY ANNOYING.

Almost tempted to uninstall all stuff that now pops there to see what they will suggest when all samsung apps will be deleted.

Please fix this MAJOR UI created bug for christ sake

Installed the latest Samsung UI update today on my Galaxy S10 and immediately noticed this change in functionality. I always use the row of last 4 apps used that was displayed along the bottom. Samsung please fix this asap by allowing users to configure to see either the last 4 apps used or 4 recommend apps.
