Hey guys, I have accidentally set up a default for my internet browser and cant remove it. Please help. I dont want to set up a default.

This solution cannot be triggered as of my timestamp. One UI 3.1, Android 11.

Hey Ajay3309,
Sometimes you may have multiple apps installed on your Android device that may be set as the default application for a certain file or data type. Maybe you have installed multiple media players or web browsers. Fact is, only one app can be the default app that opens up when you launch a file type or protocol on your device. If none has been set, you will instant get an action prompt where you are asked to select the app you want to open your selection with.
Please follow the steps below to change the default browser option.
Go to Settings> Apps> Tap at option menu (Three dots on right top corner)> Select Default apps> Check your default Browser app. For this example, Samsung Internet Browser is the default browser.
Now you can change the default browser.

Hi Halston. I want no app set as default for browser. I want the prompt everytime like it used to happen before I accidently set a default.

They took away the option to set your default browser to NONE. A solution is to use a browser from the Play Store called, "Choose Browser", as your default. It asks you what browser you want to use when you click on a URL address, so you can use multiple browsers and not always the default one.
