Anyone get Jan update yet? Some phones got it on the first part of Jan.

Try this:

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics and run the Diagnostics for WiFi.

See if you get any error messages. 

And in your first post, you said "Yes", Yes your device recieved the January Security Patch, or were you referring to something else?

Was told yesterday that a new update is coming between February 20 and 25th.

However, even without any reference, any guesstimate, of between the 20th & 25th has a reasonable probability of being potentially accurate lol 😉

Sorry, for brevity, I left it out lol.
I called Samsung support as I have distorted Bluetooth reception with my new A53, in my Mazda. It's a common problem which has a community thread dedicated to this.

Samsung Support does not have a stellar track record of accuracy, but hopefully they may be correct with this 🤞🏻
