I was hoping that Samsung would introduce some method to control what network situations wifi calling is preferred or not. I (and my family) have hoped for this setting for years and the change is simple.
When on wifi calling there are times when you are walking/moving around and disconnect, and some networks that you use don't have the best connection everywhere, and thus make for poor calls. Plus on wifi calling you can't use Bixby voice to screen calls (really useful).

So in these scenarios having wifi calling set to prefer cellular avoids all these issues. But then there is the issue of roaming, my carrier has roaming but doesn't allow it if you are "in their zone". So I am sometimes roaming "in their zone" (a very specific area) I can't receive or make calls due to this, but wifi calling won't activate because I have full roaming bars.

The simple fix would be a setting toggle, if on roaming then prefer wifi calling, which was an option on some early wifi calling phones. Samsung should include this option, as it is basically one if statement. Its a relatively easy change that is much better for users. They put the effort into many updates anyways, so making the change would be great. Not everyone has roaming they can use. And even for those who do have it on paper (like me), there may be specific zones where it doesn't work. Maybe even specific networks to use or not use it on in network options. But the roaming change would solve most issues. Please upvote this if you see it and think you would like the option. And Samsung, if you do check the members form please consider the toggle in an update.
