Double tap to unlock not working since latest update

Is anyone else double tap to wake not working since latest update? S21 Ultra. It seems that if I reboot the phone it will work , and I'm not positive on this next part, but if I lock the phone hitting the side power button, then the double tap to wake stops working and i have to hit the power button again to wake and for every time after that. Anyone know of a solution, or is Samsung even aware of this problem. Thanks

Hi CruJones, can you please check once again in settings > advanced features > motions and gestures > is "double tap to turn on screen" enabled? 

If your'e still facing this issue even after it is enabled, we request you to please register your concern in Samsung Members Application:

Tap and hold on Samsung Members Icon and tap on Error report >> select the category from the below >> Describe the issue and check the option "send system log data" then send. An expert from the Samsung Members team will try and respond to the report as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the reply, it definitely is checked, I've even turned it off, rebooted, then tried turning it on again and it still does it

I refitted my screen protector to see if it would be ok, it wasn't, but now, even with it removed, those features aren't working!]] [Edit: My biometrics and double-tap to unlock started working straight after I'd written this reply! I just downloaded some 85mb update, so maybe that fixed it? I don't know!] Yep, same on my A72. Also, my biometrics(fingerprint) doesn't unlock my phone anymore, or even work in my apps! I can't even register a new fingerprint, the scan starts, then stops straight afterwards.

Where did you find this download, or did it Samsung release it? Does it still work after you lock the phone using the side button?

As I was searching through my phone settings, I came across it, I think it was under "Security". After refitting my screen protector and not being able to use these features, I removed it, and now they've stopped working again! A restart didn't help either. I can double-tap to turn the screen off, but not to turn it on.

Ok, this is really weird. Double-tap and fingerprint is working again, even with a thick screen protector loosely fitted. I won't be surprised if it stops again. It does seem to be a system problem, because all other touch features have been working fine.

I think I may have found the culprit(but it doesn't explain why fingerprint wasn't working in apps) Try going into Settings>Display and turn off "Accidental touch protection" to see if that works. It seems to have worked for me.
