Galaxy SHi Born2fly,
We are really sorry you're running into this frustrating Bluetooth audio issue after the latest update.
Can you confirm your exact device model and current software version? Have you tried removing the buds from paired devices completely and re-pairing them fresh?
You mentioned you tried resets and permissions did you try a reset network settings or Safe Mode to rule out third-party interference?

Galaxy SOne UI version: 6.1
• Android version; 14
• Current version: S928WVLS4AYB3 /
S928W0YV4AYB3 / S928WVLS4AYB3
‣ Security patch level: March 1, 2025
I tried reset of Bluetooth device, setting, pair-unpair, connecting other Bluetooth devices but nothing works for audio. Same devices work for call but not for playing audio or music

Galaxy SHi Born2fly,
Thanks for providing the detailed version info and steps you've already taken that's very helpful.
Can you please try booting into Safe Mode and testing audio playback there? This will help rule out any third-party apps interfering with Bluetooth audio:
Press and hold Power button > Tap and hold Power off > Select Safe Mode. Try pairing and playing music in Safe Mode.
To rule out the possibility of an issue with a specific app, try playing music or audio from a different source:
Use apps like YouTube, Spotify, or Samsung Music to see if the issue is app-specific. Check if the issue persists across different apps or is isolated to a specific one.
Clear the cache of apps that you use to play audio or music to ensure they aren't causing the issue: Go to Settings > Apps > [Your music app] > Storage > Clear Cache. Alternatively, try Force Stopping the app and reopening it.
As a final step, if nothing works, performing a Factory Reset might help if the system files got corrupted. But before doing this, please make sure you back up your data to avoid losing anything important.

Galaxy SHello.
I have the exact same problem as described by OP on my Samsung Galaxy S23.
It works after I restart the device and the next day no audio via bluetooth.

Galaxy SI force quit all apps and sound is back.
I think an app was interfering some say its WhatsApp on reddit.
"I just tested this.
Yes. WhatsApp was the culprit.
I simply force-stopped WhatsApp, and Bluetooth audio started working again."
EDIT: Yes, WhatsApp was the problem. I have version: 2.25.9.78 and after I receive an WhatsApp voice call I have no audio via bluetooth afterwards. Simply forcing quit the WhatsApp problem instantly solves the problem.
