Hey guys From the past 15-20 days, I am noticing that the battery life on my S25 Ultra has dropped significantly. Can someone give me any suggestion on this please? Should I just do a factory reset?

Using 83% in one day 15 hrs isn't all that bad.

There are people having to charge their devices twice a day but I think that is for heavy use.

There are alot of battery problems with One UI 7 for some people on all of the different devices and some like me that have not seen any battery problems.

There is going to have to be an update released hopefully to solve these issues so I wouldn't go as far as factory reset as of now.

Here is a link to a post by @RedDogRabbit that gives a link to suggested solutions that he got from the US site that might help you

Instagram is sucking the life out of your battery. Try uninstalling any updates for the app and see if that helps.

Hi Juppreet,

We understand your concern regarding the recent drop in battery performance. With each major software update. The system undergoes various optimizations and background processes that may temporarily impact battery life for some users.

Before considering a factory data reset, we recommend the following best practices:

  • Wipe Cache Partition – Clears residual files from the previous software version, which may help improve performance and battery life.

  • Review Battery Usage – Navigate to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage to identify any apps consuming more power than expected.

  • Optimize Background Usage – Place seldom-used apps into Deep Sleep via Device Care > Battery > Background Usage Limits.

  • Enable Adaptive Battery and Power Saving Features – These settings help the device manage power more efficiently by limiting battery usage for infrequently used apps.

  • Ensure All Apps Are Updated – Visit both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store to make sure all apps are running their latest versions.

We also encourage you to review the helpful link shared by Ray1, which outlines additional best practices following a One UI/Android version update.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Our software team is actively monitoring community feedback, and we anticipate upcoming updates will further enhance overall performance and battery efficiency.

Thank you.
