I was using my phone tonight, and out of nowhere, a vertical green line appeared. I've restarted, un-installed some apps, and even activated safe mode, and the line doesn't go away. I have an S21+ 5G. I recently downloaded the latest update, don't know if this has anything to do with it. I do note that the screen/phone overheats at times. Can overheating be the cause? Is it expensive to repair? I don't even want to think about purchasing a new phone and this same issue will emerge.
Mine too, s21 fe 5g, few months ago. End up changing the screen, the cost depends on the phone. Dont know what's the cause, tho, since mine always slipped off my hand, haha
Hi, ive got the same problem and i just asked the samsung staff about this. They said, right now samsung have program to change the green line screen for RM90++ than RM700-RM800 (depends on your phone. Might be more than RM700 if you use latest Samsung). But you need to leave your phone at their store maybe around 1-2 week depends on availability stocks. If you dont want to leave your phone, you will pay original price RM700-RM800.
