I recently got the S25 Ultra, and I've been quite disappointed with its performance. While the camera quality is already subpar, the video playback quality is also underwhelming, particularly reels on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The colors look off, the pixels are stretched and grainy, and the overall quality is very poor. When compared to my iPhone 16 and S21 Ultra, both performed significantly better, displaying reels with vibrant colors and clear pixels. High-quality videos on YouTube look fine, so this seems to be an issue specifically with social media playback.

Hi SaniaPunjani,

We are sorry to hear your disappointment and understand that you're facing issues with video playback quality, particularly on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, while high-quality videos on YouTube appear normal.

Please try the below steps and if they might help to fix the issue.

Check App Settings for Video Quality: Some social media apps apply compression by default, which may affect playback quality.

Clear Cache & Reinstall Apps Settings > Apps > [Affected App] > Storage > Clear Cache. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app from the Google Play Store

Disable Video Enhancement Features: Settings > Advanced Features > Video Enhancer > Try turning it off.

Adjust Display Settings: Settings > Display > Motion Smoothness → Ensure Adaptive (120Hz) is selected.

If the issue persists after these steps, we recommend reporting the issue via the Samsung Members App to help our development team improve compatibility with social media platforms.

Thank you.
