I am experiencing an issue with the Samsung keyboard's new microphone feature. When I use voice to text, the text I just sent is immediately reinserted into the text message field after I deactivate the microphone. I am unsure if this is a bug or if I am not using the feature correctly. Please advise.
Can you please let us know the model number of your device?
If you haven't tried to perform Clear Cache and Data for Samsung Keyboard, please try and see if it helps to fix the issue:
Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Keyboard > Tap on Storage, then select Clear Cache. If the issue persists, try Clear Data (this will reset keyboard settings, so any personalized preferences will be lost).
Please make sure that both the Samsung Keyboard and Samsung Voice Input (the app managing voice-to-text) are up to date.
If that doesn't fix the issue, you may try resetting the Keyboard settings: Go to Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard Settings. Scroll down and tap on Reset to default settings.
