When I had to get a new Visa card.
I have completed purchases with the new card and my wallet since receiving the card.
When I purchased something I input my card info in the form. It declined the card due to expiration date.
I went to the Wallet and couldn't edit the card therefore I deleted it.
Added the card with the new Expiration date.
Tried the purchase again and still fails due to the date. I am guessing the Wallet must have a cache because it showed the original expiration date even after the card was deleted, and the new card and date was added.

Is there something I can do?

What devices are using to pay for your item?

You can try clear cache by tap and hold Samsung wallet app until menu pop up and tap circled exclamation mark and scroll down tap storage and tap clear cache. Add card back in again

Best to give a call to the bank and ask them what cause for a decline.
General ideas, but not necessary
Decline, tap over 250 repeating
Decline, over limit on credit card or almost close use up credit limit
Decline new card not activated correctly.
Decline transaction limit by the user settings.

Hi Toody,

If you're seeing the old expiration date even after re-adding your card, it's possible the app cached the previous data.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Tap and hold the Samsung Wallet app icon.

  2. Tap the info icon.

  3. Go to Storage > Clear cache.

  4. Reopen the app and add your card again.

If the issue continues, we recommend contacting your card issuer to ensure the new card is fully activated and eligible for mobile payments.

Let us know which device you're using and if this happens with other cards as well — we’re here to help.
