I am often awake working later than my friends and family, and really appreciated being able to send time scheduled 'delayed messages'. That way I didn't disturb others at night, and they didn't wake me too early the next morning.
I'm all for keeping tech equipment up to date, but why make apps less useful (& less able to be user personalized) than before the update "improvements"???
ALSO, with our Galaxy S5's, we had the option to pause delivery of both texts & email by up to 30 seconds, in order to change or correct mistakes. I used that function a few times every day. Like I said above, why don't the "so called" updates and upgrades improve the equipment, not make them less useful??

scheduling is still there
+ sign on the left corner of the bar where you enter the message

Wow, thanks so much, Ray2. I never really noticed the plus sign, with the other changes that happened at the major O/S update.
I just found it and scheduled a text delivery for much later this morning. I can't thank you enough.
That's the second time I've had a question solved at the Community Forum.
Way to go!!
