I'm a photographer and I love to shoot with my Samsung Galaxy S6 on manual mode and sometimes even on automatic with the filters. Everyone in my family has an Apple device ... except me. I used to...but I switched to Samsung for the better camera. After the nougat update new filters were added to the camera and the old ones were removed. As an avid photographer my phone is always on me and practical to shoot with. My favorite filter, and a very popular filter that people use is the black and white filter; the most basic one. I am aware that you cannot uninstall a software update but I am aware that you can download new filters into your camera, and I am confused by the fact that there is no black and white filter I can download into my camera. If this persists I'm going to have to switch back to my Apple device to shoot in black and white and retire my Samsung camera. I appreciate the help-Émile

Hey @ÉCon, thanks for the feedback! I agree that having the B&W filter is important, since so many people use it. I will pass the feedback along and hopefully the filter will be restored in a future update. In the meantime, we would appreciate your patience!

I have found a couple of decent black and white apps. Lenka has sliders for adjusting colour and light values so it gives you a bit more freedom to get it right. Blackcam has some nice filters. Binary cam is kind of fun too, it has a more gritty look to it
