Hey there, I'm having some issues with the blue light filter on my phone and I'm simply wondering if others have had the same problem.

I use have the blue light filter set to open on from sun up to sun down, figuring the phone's clock will know when to turn it off. However, I often turn off my phone before going to bed. I have noticed that after a software update not long ago (can't remember when) if I turn off my phone while the blue light filter is on, when I turn it back on in the morning it will remain on, even long after sunrise. I have to manually turn it on and off every time, so now I just don't use it. Am I doing it wrong, is there a settings issue going on here, or what? The phone should know that 11 a.m. is after sunrise and should automatically turn off the blue light filter like it used to

Hi MrSt3wy, Please make sure the date and time settings on the device are accurate. I suggest you please try setting the start time and end time manually by going into Settings >> Display >> Blue light filter >> Enable Turn on as scheduled >> Custom schedule.

that is what I originally had set. it would turn on at 9pm and off at 8am. But even if I turned on my phone at 8:30 or 9am, the BLF would remain on and I would have to manually shut it off. I figured the sunset to sunrise schedule would fix it, but the same problem exists. As for the date and time on my device, it is definitely accurate.

I had a software update this afternoon so I'm curious to see if that will fix it tonight.
