Galaxy S
Before I talk about pros , cons and bug on Nougat, I would like to mention I flashed my phone with generic CSC and then I changed it back to official and original CSC of my provider which made couple things worse!
Pros:
My phone has better performance now specifically in these area:
- Touch
- Opening Applications
- Finger print response time
Option to changing your screen resolution is great and if you don't care about resolution, you can save so much power on processing
Battery life is somewhat better, if you are using your phone heavily everyday, you may even drain your battery faster. otherwise it keep your charge on sleep mode perfectly. maybe 1 percent per hour!!! (thanks doze)
Much better user interface, it basically make you feel like you have a brand new phone. full of great and useful tweaks, first and best blue light filter
===================================
Cons:
User interface is too bright and there is no dark theme option from Samsung (at least I could not find any)
Settings menu is of course great now, but those "contacts us" and "how your device perform" options below each menu setting is just too much and annoying!
This update came with security update from Feb. and still no March
Kernel of this ROM is still on 3.14 Linux! that may cause some performance issue. but I guess Samsung did not care about changing their ROM on newer version of Linux kernel. Maybe because they must redesign their Knox for that! I don't know. not a bugger, unless you want to do some advance stuff
===================================
Bugs:
You basically can not change your keyboard! you there is no option for default keyboard!!!!!
No private mode on internet browser (and Google Chrome is so laggy unfortunately)
Antenna is worst thing on Samsung Nougat. I ride to downtown with SkyTrain. and I have no antenna after every single tunnel. it would stuck and gives me no service unless I restart it! sometimes works with going to airplan mode and then switch back.
I am with Telus and this turned to be worse after changing my CSC from generic to TLS which is for Telus.
All I said above is my ppersonal experience, you may experience none of them or maybe differently as every build of phone my have changes in hardware and firmware of it's hardware!
hope this would help to people who are still on Marshmallow and wants to know more before they move to Nougat

The new settings menu is going to take some serious getting used too. It feels like EMUI 5.0 in a lot of ways. Advanced features are now buried a little deeper where they were easily accessible.
The UI is a lot better. I slapped a theme on it (material dark), and it looks excellent on the AMOLED panel. It's an easy fix.

I find using radiant theme from the Samsung store was okay as a black theme only downside is that some of the letters either in settings or some notifications turn white making the thing unreadable. as for the UI I love how it's lot less bulky in the notifications only thing that I don't see yet is a easy access data button on my nougat firmware.
