Galaxy SYou mean the order in which they are listed, ie: Oldest at the top, and newest at the bottom?
If you're using Samsung's Messages, switch to Google Messages.
Reboot your device.
Verify that the Date & Time on your device is correct. (Settings > General Management > Date & Time.. use Network Provided Date & Time.)
You could also go to Settings > Apps & Search for your Messaging app > Click on it & Scroll down to Storage > Clear Both Cache & Data for the app (don't worry, your messages will be repopulated shortly afterwards).

Hi, we recommend to use Google Messages instead of preloaded Samsung Messages App.
Download from Google Play store: Google Messages and set as default.
You can try the steps provided above to sort the Date and Time on your device and also to perform Clear cache and Clear data for the messages app.

Galaxy S- a) The issue is resolved.
- b) ALL of your comments include a hyperlink to some other QUESTIONABLE site.
- d) It's Spamming Samsung Members & Your posts are being Reported.
