I have to clear the app cache for YouTube because I kept getting black screen. It fixed the black screen but now I have lost my 10 second skip.ahead buttons from premium controls. It still works on my tablet but since clearing cache on my S23 Ultra it's gone.
Anyone know how to fix?

Hi SgtStubby,

The skip-ahead buttons might be hidden in certain interface modes: Tap anywhere on the video screen while it's playing to bring up the controls. Ensure that you're not in a minimized or restricted mode (like the mini-player or PiP mode) that might not display full controls.

Clearing the cache sometimes removes minor updates or UI changes that were downloaded but not installed: Go to Google Play Store. Search for YouTube and check if an update is available.

If updating doesn’t work, uninstall and reinstall the app.

If you’re a YouTube Premium user, ensure your account is properly synced: Open the YouTube app. Tap your profile icon. Verify that you’re logged in to the correct account with YouTube Premium.

If necessary, log out and log back in.

If none of these steps work, it could be a bug related to the cache clearing. Please report the issue: Open the YouTube app. Tap your profile icon > Help & feedback.

Describe the issue, emphasizing that it's related to YouTube Premium and occurred after clearing the cache.

Thank you.

Ok I found it. It's in the settings under accessibility. Sheesh that took a long time.
