Z Fold 2 5G network region lock?

I recently travel back to China with the fold 2 and plug in with the local sim and I noticed my 5G options had disappeared from network mode and I am not able to use 5g, but I am able to use LTE network and make a phone call. I have no problem using 5G in Canada, so is there a region lock or some sort of restriction for the Canadian model?

no, it's that Canadian samsung models just support band 41,66, and 71 for 5G and China doesn't use those bands for 5G.

Hi DisonLY, As mentioned by @Baspi, if the frequency bands of the Canadian SIM card and local SIM card (China) are not matching then the 5G network would not work on the device.

I did some research and shows my operator are using band 41 and band 79, so if my phone support band 41 i should able to use 5g right?
