Galaxy ZHi silbie123, please check for updates related to Android Auto, and always keep the app up to date.
Have you tried to connect using USB cable? Did you observe the same error message?

Galaxy ZIf you are still having problems connecting with android auto on you vehicle, on your phone try going to settings, apps, Android Auto app and scroll down to and select storage and clear cache at the bottom of the screen and then restart your phone.
If it still doesn't connect do the same again and clear data

Galaxy ZI have an A55, which connects to my car, then within a minute the connection crashes. Other Samsung work fine with the car. Tried all the suggestions e.g. updating software, factory reset software, clearing caches disconnecting reconnecting etc. There appears to be an issue with this model phone. Someone please prove me wrong and give me the solution 🙂

Galaxy ZI have also just received my new A55 and also cannot connect to Android Auto. Very frustraiting.

I also have a new A55 with exactly this issue, but it randomly connect / disconnects Only with A55 + Sony Head unit.
Both phone & head unit appear on the compatibility list
My family's other phones A25 & A51 both works fine with the Sony head unit and to make things worse the A55 works fine with the head unit in my wife's Yaris (2022).
So the failure is my phone & my car, all other combinations work fine.
I've tried all sorts of fixes, but nothing seems to work and I know it is not the cable or connectivity via USB.
Would love to hear of any fix.
