Please allow us to use a colour pallet to adjust the colour of the widget. The limited ability to colorate the list and background is prohibitive and stale.

The black and white options are also limited as the function does not allow you to adjust when the black and white font changes colour. The slider should be more gradual. Doesn't cut it.
