Crack in middle of screen 2.5 mth old flip z 5g

Sigh. I cant be without my phone...anyone else have the crack happen at fold during cold weather (-10c)?

I believe the -10 °C is the lowest allowable temperature assuming no wind chill factor.
Plastic is highly susceptible in colder temperatures.
