Fold 3 ui 5.1.1 wifi and Hotspot won't enable

Seems like multiple threads I've found about this since the most recent update 5.1.1 phone updated. wifi will not turn on, tried all the solutions provided in other threads like resetting network settings, safe mode, can't use new diagnostic tool as wifi won't enable for it to work. Also back of the phone gets very hot when trying to enable wifi. Most of the posts say the repair is costly and replaces everything but the motherboard. How did Samsung manage to brick wifi cards with a software update and what's the play here I had wifi working before the update I expect full phone functionality.

It's possible, that you and everyone else, who was an early adopter of Samsung's Flip / Fold technology are still paying the price for what appears to be "Guinea Pigs".

From what I've seen, it seems that a hardware fix, resolved the issue for some? If that is in fact the solution, Samsung should offer the hardware fix to everyone, for free.

Same thing happened to my husband. He has the Fold 4 and we have no authorized repair near by. He has to send it away. Which is not awesome especially since we don't have any other phones for back ups since the super cool trade in programs.

I tried back up and factory resetting and still the same issue, not only that good luck resetting with 240gb without wifi so this is basically trashed now and have to spend God knows how much because of Samsung fault on an update

I have the same problem just updated the UI 5.1.1, wifi cannot be turned on. Has anyone found the solution?
