Gaming HubHi canadianhero,
We certainly understand how frustrating that must be for you when features stop working like that. Since you've already cleared data/cache and reinstalled the app, the next step might be to check a couple of settings or workarounds without going for a full factory reset.
Check for any background app restrictions: Sometimes, the system might restrict apps from running in the background or updating as they should. Go to Settings > Apps > Game Hub > Battery and make sure "Allow background activity" is toggled on.
Check Game Launcher settings: If you're using Game Launcher, ensure the feature for tracking recently played games is enabled. You can find this by going to Game Launcher > Settings and look for any options related to the mini bar or recently played games.
Clear the launcher’s cache: If the mini bar is part of the launcher, clearing the launcher’s cache or restarting the launcher could help. This can be done by going into Settings > Apps > Home (Samsung One UI) and clearing its cache.
Reset app preferences: This is a middle ground option that doesn’t require a full reset but can fix misbehaving apps. Go to Settings > Apps > Menu (three dots) > Reset app preferences.
Thank you.
