Figured here be the best place to ask.
Trying to capture what our eye sees I rain snow fog etc vs how the camera cuts through and makes it almost look a clear day in comparison.

Using s23 ultra it always see thru the rain snow or fog. The image shows that yes is raining snowing foggy etc but never shows how bad it actually is. My dash cam does the same aswell.

Has anyone found best settings to show a truer image when shooting rain snow or fog?

Hi Mentoria,

To capture a truer image of rain, snow, or fog on your S23 Ultra:

  1. Use Pro mode and lower the exposure.
  2. Adjust manual focus to highlight weather.
  3. Turn off HDR for a more natural look.
  4. Try a slower shutter speed to capture movement.
  5. Use a polarizing filter to reduce glare from rain or snow.

These settings should help make the conditions appear closer to what your eyes see.

Thank you.

Off hand, slowly shutter speed, you should then see the streaks of snow & rain.
