I need to stop the video output from staying hotizontal when I rotate the screen. I want to play arcade games that are vertical and use the whole screen, but when I swivel the monitor the picture rotates and shrinks down, to stay the same no matter what the angle of the actual monitor is been looking for a solution for a while now

Hi wackler,

It sounds like you're dealing with a situation where your monitor is rotating, and the video output is also rotating to match the physical rotation, but you want the content such as arcade games to remain fixed in portrait mode, no matter how the monitor is rotated.

Many arcade games, especially older ones or emulated games, allow you to set a preferred screen orientation or window size. You can try:

Rotating the Game’s Display: In emulators (like MAME or RetroArch), there are often options to force portrait orientation for the game, which will prevent the screen from shrinking when the monitor is rotated.

Game-Specific Settings: Some arcade games have settings to adjust the screen size and orientation. Check the game's options or manual to see if you can lock it into portrait mode for better playability.

Check the monitor’s on-screen display (OSD) menu to see if there's an option to lock orientation or fix the rotation.

Thank you.
