I have synced my old Samsung reveiver HT-AS730 to my new Samsung TV Q60 and can control volume. However I cannot power the receiver on or off using the smart remote. I am connected from TV to receiver by Optical cable only. How can I get the remote to power the receiver by infrared?
Hi, Welcome to the Samsung Members Community Canada. As the receiver is an old device, it is not possible to control it by using the TV smart remote. It should use the assigned remote for the receiver.
