My xbox controller doesnt show up under Bluetooth...other items do connect to my bluetooth..but controller wont..have done a my research and followed all steps in order to make sure its updated and in paring mode but won't even recognize or show up under bluetooth..

Im using the galaxy s9 btw...i tried other things like headphones and watches and they come up under bluetooth..

I've followed all the steps xbox ones x controller is bluetooth..works on xbox...updated with xbox..works on bluetooth with xbox....
But when I hit the pair mode on controller and scan on my phone..it just won't show up under bluetooth on my phone...

Hi gordo27

To connect the controller with a mobile device wirelessly through Bluetooth follow the below steps:

- Move the Wireless/Wired switch on the front center of the controller to Bluetooth which indicates Bluetooth wireless mode.

- If the controller is off, press the Xbox button to turn on (LED will illuminate).

- Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button on the back of the controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).

- Enter the Bluetooth settings on your device and choose the MOGA controller.

- The pairing LED will turn solid when connected.

Hi gordo27,

Please try to clear the cache and data for the Bluetooth and check. Follow the below steps:
Open Settings >> Tap Apps >> Tap the More settings icon (three-dot icon, upper right) >> Tap Show system apps >> Find and tap the Bluetooth app >> Tap Storage >> Tap Clear cache button and Clear Data Button.

Note: Clearing the data will reset the app to factory default settings. Any personal settings saved on the app will be removed.

If the issue persists then you can Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings >> General Management >>Reset >> Reset Network Settings >> Reset settings.
This will reset all network settings, including those for Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth.
