Was watching tv and it just shut off on me and now every time I try to turn it on the backlight flickers the Samsung logo tries to light up and then off and repeat until I unplug it.
after a quick google search it seems this happens a lot. Anyone have any experience with getting it fixed ?
I tried Samsung support robot and got nowhere, bought this thing for almost 4K in 2016 with a 3 yr extended warranty from the brick (expired last year)
Very disappointed the highest priced model of that year just has design flaws and Samsung won’t stand behind their product and fix it.
Hi, Welcome to the Samsung Members Community Canada. If your Samsung Television is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features. Disable the following options and check if the issue still persists.
Energy Saving Mode (Home>Settings >System Eco Solution >Energy Saving Mode).
