There's a new option available in the Gallery Labs settings!
It locks selected albums with a password/patterns or with the fingerprints if you use them to unlock your phone.

Here's how to use it:
1. Enable gallery labs by clicking seven times on the version number of the gallery which is in the parameters

2. Enable Album entry-locks

3. Restart the gallery app

4. Create a new album and put the pictures that you want to hide in this album

5. long click on the album you want to hide and select "lock album

6. It's ready ! If like me you use Secure folder only to save screenshots of your passwords (I sometimes don't have a good memory😅) you can use this to hide them and disable Secure folder to stop receiving notifications asking you to unlock it each time the phone is started :)

-> The hiden pictures doesn't appear in the gallery, so you must unlock the album to see the pictures

To disable it, go into the album, click on the three dots top right and select unlock folder

(Note that I had only 33% of battery left at 4 pm, to see if it's better after one week with the update)

Great tip! 👍🏻

Not sure about the Secure Folder Notification on Boot, as I've never seen it on my device.. 🤔

Maybe it only happens to the smart people.. 🤪

Your secure folder likes you too much to bore you with notifications 😊
