OthersMy camera app is honestly **bleep** me off at this point. Sometimes it works okay, but it'll crash, not save pictures it takes, and just be incredibly slow and annoying.
This happens both when I open the app itself or when another app uses the camera.
For instance, I try to deposit my cheque in my bank app. I have to do the process up to 10 times because the camera app keeps crashing partway through the process of taking two pictures and the bank app logs me out every time it happens because the camera app manages to take me out of the app whenever it does this.
Honestly I have never had a worse experience on what should be a basic function of a phone. How has this not been solved? I see other people have issues as well.
My phone is an A21 model

Others- Open the Camera's Settings & Reset the Camera.
- Go to Settings > Apps > Camera & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for the Camera. Reboot.
- Still have issues - Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.
- Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics & run the Diagnostics for the Camera. See if you get any error messages?

OthersHi, please try the steps provided by RedDogRabbit to reset the camera app.
If that doesn't work, please perform wipe cache partition and check for the issue. You can also check the diagnostics in the camera app.
Below are the steps to perform clear cache partition.
1.Turn off the unit.
2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
5.Press the Power button to reboot the unit.
