I have a un65tu7000fxzc, and can't seem to update the TV at all.  The website shows that I have an update available, but when trying to update through the TV, it says there isn't one available.  When I downloaded and attempted to use the USB, it says firmware update not available.

The TV firmware is 2211, but the website has 2505

In chatting with Samsung on the site, they told me to just wait it out, though there is an update available for it??  (I don't understand this tbh, as I have the apparently latest firmware on the USB)

I have run diagnostics multiple times, reset the TV to factory settings, tried over the app, and through USB, and nothing.  I am not sure if the TV truly does have an update, or something is borked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, we apologize for the buggy experience and appreciate your efforts in trying the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Have you tried to enable auto update on your TV?

Navigate to the TV menu > From the menu, select Settings > Support > Software Update.

Note: If the Software Update option is grayed out, it is because a streaming app is running in the background.

Please switch to the TV source or press "Samsung TV Plus" on the remote. Select the Auto Update option to turn it on. Selecting it again will turn the setting off.

Your TV will search the USB drive for update files. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete.

When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
