Hey everyone, looking for some help with this weird situation. Lately our soundbar Q60r wasn't sounding right, even after a rest. Soooo let's check for firmware update. Did, found it read all the instructions and went ahead with the update.
Update went well, or so I thought. After the play/pause init ok proceedure the unit will power on, display shows "ON" then does nothing. I've unplugged this thing overnight same result. Tried multiple different methods of connecting to 2 tv's and a laptop with the same result. So now what, bricked unit with a simple software update? Any advise or insight would be helpful before I use this as a hood prop in the garage.

OthersHi SirDenny,
If you're using a USB drive to update the firmware, try using a different USB drive. Make sure it's formatted correctly (usually FAT32) and contains only the firmware update file.
Thank you.

Hi Helenna,
I did ensure that the USB drive was formatted to FAT32 and the only thing on the drive was the firmware update file. At this point I can't do anything with the soundbar as it doesn't respond to commands. What I did notice is using HDMI from the arc port on the soundbar to a regular HDMI port on the tv, the tv shows the soundbar as an audio out option, but doesn't play audio.
When connected to the arc port on the tv, soundbar shows as an option briefly in the menu then disappears.
