Please advise. My front loading samsung washer Wf203anw/xac is producing acrid smoke in the drum during the spin portion of the rinse cycle. I immediately turned the machine off and unplugged, and also noticed the rubber seal seems damaged.
The machine is surely out of warranty. Is there a fix?
Sounds like you have a loose/broken door gasket or something caught between the drum and the gasket. Suggest to inspect the integrity of the gasket, check the gap between the gasket and the drum (abound 1/4 -3/8 inch). Also use hand to spin the drum to see if it turns freely and true. Gasket replacement is not too hard if you're handy. Can watch YouTube for reference.
