I'd like to change the country for my Samsung Account. Any help/ guidance would be much appreciated.

I have the same issue. I first setup a Samsung account when I lived in the US but now I live in the UK. Due to geofencing there's some UK things I can't get access to (UK content for Smartthings for example), so I need to change my country in my profile. How can I do this? The published URL on this post gets a 404.

i signed into my Samsung account but it won't let me change my country. How can i change that?

As you can see in this image, I can change almost all the details, but the country / region. it seems to be hardcoded. unless i create another email id and then create a different samsung account with Canada as my region, I guess I'll not be able to get rid of it. I am facing the same issue. Bought my phone from UAE and recently moved to Australia. I don't know Arabic but all my communications from Samsung are in Arabic. This is a basic requirements to change the language or region at least. Please guide me how would I be able to do this? Thanks

Hello. You can only charge language unfortunately not the Country 

Go to Samsung account > Personal information > you will find language.

I don't know if it will change all Samsung apps language  for example Samsung members..

I am 70% sure  all app's language will be change

 Hi, did you solve this issue? 
I setup the samsung account in another country, now when I want to link a TP-Link account to my smartThings, i couldnt find the app. After weeks of discussion with customer service, i guess this is the issue. Some apps can be accessed in certain regions, when I am in Canada , I should have access those, but since The account was setup at another country, its not available for me!!!

So my Samsung Account is hard coded to the UAE. 

 

 

Don't think I've ever been within a 1,000 miles of the UAE in my life.

 

Smartthings and Samsung are convinced that I'm in the UAE, and won't let me tell them otherwise.

 

Seriously, this needs a fix.

 

A fix beyond deleting my account and starting over. Because if that's my only recourse, after i delete i won't be starting over with Samsung.

I have the same issue, I bought my phone in the US, made my account in the US , but somehow Samsung says I'm in Brazil, even though I've never been there in my life.
