We received fridge January 2016. With multiple service calls the problems we've experienced have not been resolved. The ice maker freezes up, loud buzzing noises as back panel freezes up causing fan blade to hit ice, irregular temperatures inside fridge... etc. Samsung refuses to deal with this defective fridge because warranty is over. Regardless of warranty a defective fridge requires a refund. I will not stop this battle until a refund cheque has been placed in my hand. Absolutely ridiculous that this piece of junk has been made available for sale.

lol again don't buy fridges or washer or dryers from them their garbage i fix them all the time.

I have the same issue with mine and under the pantry at the bottom of the fridge becomes a sheet of ice and can't pull open the drawer

If I had been smart and actually did research before this nightmare fridge, I could have saved a lot of money and headaches, food poisoning.

There is no fix, nor ethics within this company worldwide.

i have the same issue. I turn the fridge off for about 12 hours to let the ice melt, turn it on and then it works for anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months before freezing up again on the back wall of the fridge. Fan gets louder and louder and of course stops when i open the door.. anyone ever had this fixed once and for all???

Were you able to find any lawsuits or recalls for this model? We have all the same issues for our fridge - same model, too.

I have the exact same model. I bought it 6 years ago and it started breaking down when it was 4 yrs old. I paid $2600 for it and expected it to last more than 4 years! What a piece of garbage. It has to be manually defrosted every 3 weeks or else ice builds up behind the back panel. It starts making loud noises and the temperature rises spoiling all the food. I end up throwing out food on a regular basis even before the expiry date. I've had to pay a repair man 3 times and he told me to throw it out, that it's a defective model and Samsung knows all about this problem with their fridges but refuses to compensate in any way. Don't buy their fridges or dishwashers. They're both garbage.
