OthersIs anyone else having issues with their Samsung Fridge? I can't believe how expensive and defective they are.
I have use the force defrost mode through their digital panel. It does nothing to remove the huge buildup of ice that prevents the ice maker from dispensing any. No new ice can be made, just one giant ice block.
The ony thing that works is to use a hair dryer to manually melt the ice in the ice maker. Then, it is usually OK for about a week, but I have to use the ice maker constantly. If I forget, then it freezes over even sooner.
I saw some videos on YouTube recommending to have a subtle tilt backwards so the ice tray will not overfill. This isn't my issue as when it was installed, it has a slight tilt backwards..
How are people able to enjoy their ice makers without them freezing shut?
Please help!

OthersMIne has that same issue. It also leaks water underneath the cheese drawer and the fridge won't stay cooled. It is five years old and I am probably going to have to throw it out. Freezer works but the fridge only cools to 65 fahrenheit.
Very poorly engineered.

OthersI have same problems but now worse. I have had 2 compressors, 2 inverter boards, ice water board, complete icemaker replacement and still having issues. I have brought these issues to Samsung's attention. I have not had a working usable fridge for 70 days. Samsung's reply is below. They just don't care and want everyone else to fix their mistakes. I have had over 12 service calls on this fridge with more to come as the freezer is now not freezing.
