OthersAre you located in the US, with an American Samsung device, and Sprint as your Carrier maybe?
If so, the Mobile Installer app is a System App & you can't uninstall it, but you can disable it.
What is the model number of your device, as shown in Settings > About Phone?

OthersWell it is a US device regardless & Mobile Installer is a system app which can not be Uninstalled.
You have two choices:
- Disable Mobile Installer with adb or an app disabler, ie: AdHell3.
- Flash the Canadian Firmware on your US device.

OthersOpen your Contacts & Click on the "hamburger menu" as seen in the first screen shot.
Then Click on the area outlined by the Red box on the 2nd screen shot & verify that you are using the account which has your Contacts stored. Look for the account that has a number beside it.
Select the account that has the number of Contacts associated with it.
