Currently, you can have duplicate songs in a playlist for the app. I have enabled the "don't allow duplicate songs" option, but that doesn't seem to do anything. Sure, I can sort by alphabetical order and remove the duplicates, but that's annoying in a playlist of over 200 songs. Is there something that I am missing or is this a bug? I've seen something like this on a forum in the past and they said they were working on it but that was 2020. Any tips on solving this?

It's only 2023.. give Samsung some time lol.

Don't know just how popular Samsung Music is, but the reviews on the Play Store are not exactly lighting up the sky.

Maybe try joining the Beta version on the Play Store, maybe it's got what you are looking for, or even try downloading Power Amp from the Play Store, see if it's more to your liking?

Having exact same issue! You can end up with several multiple copies of the same song in the playlist and samsung music doesn't detect this at the time of adding the song to the playlist

Otherwise, no major complaints. I like that I can request google to play a particular artist on samsung music as couldn't with my previous player (blackplayer)
