Hello all. 

I've had my Freestyle for just under 2 years now. When I first set it up, Netflix worked. Or it appeared to. I had to factory reset it and after that it would not launch. Fast forward a year and I plugged everything back in, did the latest firmware update, and Netflix still won't install. It shows in the apps and when I click on "Install" I receive a pop-up with an error message. "Unable to install. Please try again later. (Netflix: 243001)"

Plex and even Disney+ work after an install and close and re-open, but they play content. For what I want to do, it seems that Netflix is the only thing not working. If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it. As I got this when it first launched and haven't used it, my warranty is up ( I get that) but this seems to be an issue with the Netflix app on Samsung's hardware which outside of licensing, should have a fix.

1. Make sure freestyle firmware is up to date.
2. Internet connection check.
3. Make sure apps are up to date.

I have tried most if not all the items on the list. The problem I'm having is that the Netflix app once worked. Meaning I was able to connect it to my account. The. I did a factory reset and firmware update. Every since then, I can't even install the app, let alone try to log into it. Not sure if there is a way to "sideload" or install the app from a cable to the projector. It just doesn't seem like the included Netflix app is compatible with the Freestyle anymore.

Maybe there is a manual way to re-install the firmware with a package that has Netflix working, like when it was first purchased and setup. Sorry for all the maybes and what-if's, it's just been frustrating especially since its the built in app so I can't even fully delete it.

Boo. Sorry to hear that. Are you able to reset to factory settings?
Hopefully that will do the trick.
If not, you may need to take it into a Samsung service center.

I'll do a full reset in a couple of weeks once I'm back with the projector. Will update this thread with my findings.

I have a Freestyle that I think is about the same age as yours and I have no problems with Netlix on it.

Long time ago so I don't remember what problems I had when I reset it but I do recall having problems getting everything working again.

Have you tried resetting the Freestyle again to see if you can load the Netflix app.

Could possibly be something causing problems another reset might change.

Thats all I can think of to suggest

I'm away from the projector for a couple of weeks. I will def give it one more try with a full reset. I'm glad yours is working. Again, mine worked briefly and then it didn't. Once I'm able to reset it, I'll post back here with an update. Thanks again.

Hi, as adviced by Ray1 please reset the freestyle projector and write back to us if it helps to fix the issue.

Buenas tardes.

Pues mi Freestyle está comprado el 31/12/2022, y presenta el mismo problema, pero no sólo con Netflix, también con Prime Video, Disney Plus, etc..., youtube funcionó unos días más pero igualmente dejó de hacerlo. Hice el mantenimiento que tiene el proyector en los menús,  restablecí los valores de fábrica, y ahora ni me deja instalar las aplicaciones mencionadas.

Llamé al servicio técnico, la atención fue muy buena, hay que reconocerlo, se conectaron en remoto al proyector, hicieron lo que yo ya había hecho, incluso hicieron un reset desde un menú oculto, pero el resultado fue el mismo, las aplicaciones aparecen, pero no puedo instalarlas, me sale el mismo código de error.

Cómo está en garantía, lo llevaré a ver que me dicen o que me lo cambien.

Siento no poder arrojar más luz al problema, pero el técnico que se conectó en remoto, me aseguró que ya iba a funcionar, pero no lo hizo.

Si alguien sabe la solución...

Hello !

I’m french and i have the same issu on my samsung tv.

At the first setup in 2020 no problem with netflix or other app. I reset the tv because it’s very laggy…. After that i can’t install netflix and i have the same error message !! I tried multiple factory reset but it’s the same.

Can i have help please or an idea to fix this issu ?
