Tbh I haven't used my Dex probably since my S20. I still have my Samsung tablet and laptop that work great

What exactly do you think this grants users as a benefit besides just a bigger bit number 🤔

More colors to operate with on a display.
Current 8-bit panels support 16 million colors, while 10-bit supports 1 billion colors, meaning less banding in colors with gradients (like photos with sky).
The current S lineup suffers from banding in most photos, which is a big problem and reported by many users on Reddit (myself including, all photos on my S24 ultra have very visible bandings).
Having 10-bit panels should solve this issue and give a proper support of HDR content, which 8-bit panels reproduce very poorly.

Most people will not be able to tell the difference between 8/10_bit displays!

Maybe youth under 30 as they've nev we been exposed to years of CRT displays.

Yet even then brightness and proper colour's gamut is more discernable to everyone vs 10bit

Also the banding is due to low PWM not 8-bit.

And it's NOT just Samsung it's most of the current phones including Nubia gaming phones
