I have a Samsung Refrigerator RF265BEAESG with Family Hub touch screen, the issue is once I turned screen on either right away or after a few minutes screen starts touching on its own mostly on a specific area of the screen then I have to turn it off. Does any one have idea what the problem is.

Thanks

Definitely seems like an issue with the touch screen.
Have you tried to wipe it with a screen cleaner to remove any dust and debris?

I cleaned it with regular glass cleaner but didn't try specific screen cleaner

do you think such a problem can be caused by just the cleaner?

I'd be careful with using normal glass cleaner such as Windex. It has chemicals in it that may not be good for the LCD screen. I personally use Whooshi. Works like a charm 20221121_173147_1000007053_1669077109.jpg

Hi, we suggest you To reset the Touch Control Panel and see if it helps, please perform the following:

1.Locate the removable panel at the interior top right corner of the upper right fridge door. Open the panel by pushing it upwards.
2.Locate the red switch inside.
Check the On or Off Status of switch.

• If the switch is pressed towards the line on the right side (see the image above), it is On.

 • If the switch is already on, switch it off, wait 15 seconds, and switch it back on. The Samsung logo should appear on the Touch Control Panel as the system boots up.

• If the switch is off, switch it on. The Samsung logo should appear on the Touch Control Panel as the system boots up.

Were you able to resolve this? Our Samsung fridge touchscreen is doing something similar. Every now and then it looks as though someone is selecting around the same spot over and over without anyone touching the screen. Just this morning, we woke to the fridge playing music from the ghost touching.

That will not work. The screen **bleep**. I know more people like me, with new screens and keep doing that.
i know someone with the 7th screen change and have the same issue
