Samsung can't seem to get rid of the automatic dimming when in use.Maps is pretty much useless as I can't see anything in normal daylight.I noticed this annoyance in every Samsung phone I had.Guess my Xiaomi MI 11 wasn't so bad after all.......
I can confirm that I actually re-ordered another phone, my S 22 ultra was only six days old and I went to the Samsung store here in New York and show them that after 15 seconds the screen dims down to probably about 30% and then turns back up all the way as soon as you get out of Google maps.
I ended up not taking the new phone because the service department actually couldn't even believe it when they pull the one oh one out and it did it after only five seconds.
Sidenote I actually even showed the tech that my phone was probably about 40% brighter than his and now he's upset. LOL
