BEWARE ALL SAMSUNG USER :if you like for a minute that Samsung will back their warranties on their phones:Beware BECAUSE THAY WILL NOT:this is what happened to me :when the note 8 came out I purchased the phone and within 9months it started to heat up and eventually caused a burn on my left hand and left side of my face ;it didnt leave any scars because it wasn't a 3rd degree burn and I am medically trained so I knew what to do to treat . I contacted Samsung:sent phone in to there repair department and was informed NOTHING WRONG WITH PHONE;continued to use phone that was sent back 3months later again it overheated and it happened in front of my provider of service :they in turn contacted Samsung rep ""REPLY NOTHING "and all I asked for was a new phone :not damages:,just a replacement;SO BEWARE :,BEFORE YOU BUY A SAMSUNG

whoa.. that's crazy. sorry to hear that. glad you're okay. did you eventually get a new phone otherwise? and thanks for the info. I haven't experienced that, but duly noted.
