OthersHello,
Bought this TV UN55KS8000FXZC from Best Buy Canada, I contacted Samsung to see if they can fix the issue due to the known defective product as per the Samsung Community forums. When I called I was first advised that it was physical damage. Then I explained the TV has been mounted to the wall since day one and it did not suffer from any damage on my end. I was advised to contact an Out of Warranty Repair Center and have it fixed on my own. Cost of repair by Samsung would cost me about the same to buy the new TV.
Samsung should take accountability for all issues related to TV since it is clearly the problem in manufacturing and not pass it off as "Physical Damage. I guess I'll have to contact BBB to see if they can be any help.
I have owned and still own multip Samsung product but after this incident, my perspective on this company has changed.
Very disappointed Samsung. You should be ashamed for not owning up to your manufacturing defects.
Thank you for no help.
If any of the community members have any suggestions do let me know.

OthersHey UrbanBoy,
I've got the same TV set and I'm experience the same vertical line issue. I've reached out to a Samsung moderator on this site but I've yet to receive any response.
Did you have any communication with a moderator on this site outside of your calls with Samsung? The Samsung US mods seem to be a lot more straightforward and open to discussion when it comes to this problem.
