Hi,
If your messages were deleted, you may be able to recover them through Samsung Cloud or Google Backup, if backups were enabled.
Samsung Cloud: Go to Settings > Accounts & Backup > Samsung Cloud > Restore Data, then check if Messages is available for restoration.
Google Backup: If your messages were backed up, you can restore them during a factory reset by signing into your Google account.
