Hey everyone! I got an issue. So I drive a 2010 GMC terrain. Good vehicle. It has a USB and Aux port in the middle compartment. When I had my last phone(S10E), I could plug in my aux cord to phone and car and the sound would be amazing. I could turn it up to 15 and it would be loud. But now since every smartphone company thought it would be a good idea to take out the aux port, I have to use a type-C to female aux cord dongle. The sound is terrible. There is no bass and to hear anything, I have to turn it up to near max(45). The radio is loud at 10. USB is not an option since the vehicle software is too old to read the S21. Bluetooth not an option either.
Has anyone come by this problem as well? Has anyone been able to fix this garbage?

Could be your type C to female aux problem, if you getting cheap adapter it probably won't give out the correct output

My friend who works at the phone store gave me an apple USB-C dongle. I'm thinking it might be that

Maybe, should try out with another brand name dongle see if it will solve your audio problem.
