My SIM will show my # .but getting no net connec on any sim I try is it locked

Just got a different phone I. My sim Won't register on a network. I called my provider they said it's locked . But when I look at dim card status under settings. It's showing my cell #. And showing available networks. Virgin network was available so I got a sim and wirh that sim stlill wouldn't register on a network even though one was available. .could it couldn't be locked to a certain sim card. What do I do to get a sim card to work? And work with a provided network thats shown and available?

Go to Settings > Security > Other Security Settings > SIM Card Lock, is it Toggled ON?

The default PIN is:

1234

BUT if it's been changed, then you are likely out of luck on your own.
