OthersI had a problem with my stove when I first used the self-cleaning (code C-31)
The oven has stopped working.
I didn't have an oven between November 4th and December 23rd. The technician changed an electronic card that had melted. The technician advised me not to use the self-cleaning with this Samsung range.
But it doesn't stop there. The oven stopped working again the day of the repair.
It was a long time before the technician came and once again the card had started to melt. The delay to get the card was long.
The oven was repaired on December 23, not long before Christmas.
Customer service offered me no help and I received no compensation for the problems I experienced with an expensive device less than a year old.

OthersHi, I had the same problem. I used the self clean for the first time about 8 months after the warranty expired. The plug on the wiring harness that connected to the bottom plug (the same location you had smoke damage on the board) had degraded to the point that when I removed it half the plug, the part surrounding the black wire, disintegrated. The black wire was a multi strand wire and I noticed many of the strands were not in the crimped female connector. I repaired the connector by opening it up and getting all the wires into the connector. Not sure if I will attempt a self clean again. The new board cost me about $200 with tax. In your case, I suspect the same problem. The problem is the wiring harness needs to be replaced at the same time as the board.
