Does anyone else here have a problem with rogers not letting samsung products work if you buy from manufacturer instead of them?
They refuse to fix the system for samsung while they have ready fixed it for apple.
So because I purchased my phone from Samsung and my watch I cannot use the LTE in it because they said I did not purchase from them. Sp I returned the watch and got it from them, watch still.doesnt work with lte. Now they say I didn't buy the phone from them so it won't work in their system. So basically I cannot use my watch and lte if idont purchase from them. It is ridiculous. Is there something that samsung can do? Apple did not let them get away woth that and tbey fixed it asap. But for some reason they refuse to correct this problem with samsung products. I really hate rogers.

Yeah, if that's indeed the case, it's absolutely ridiculous.. and I'm not sure if it's against CRTC regulations.. Samsung sells to the Canadian Carriers, and it shouldn't matter if you purchase from Samsung Canada, or Rogers.

I'd ask to speak with a supervisor at Rogers, and also contact the CRTC, or Google search for information about this.

Yeah. I also think its not right. But everyone at rogers pretending they don't know, but one of the reps told me. The higher ups say it's a system glitch. I will contact CRTC. Thanks for the input!!

One other thing, are you using a Rogers SIM, and did you verify that your device is using Rogers APN (Access Point Name) Settings?

Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > APN

If you have something different from the screen shot, add my APN Settings to your device and Save.

Reboot and test.

Hi SaGos,

We understand how it sounds like a frustrating situation. We are sorry to hear this issue from you.

Did you observe any error message when you try to use LTE on the Watch?
